Winter Blessing: the Chariot

I’m packing up and heading to the east coast of Canada for two weeks. I don’t know how often I’ll be getting to this blog.

My holiday wish for you is the Chariot. And maybe for myself, as well. Freedom of movement and emotional expression. Good circulation. Save journeys. We are only riders in the Chariot. Love and Desire can help the two sphinxes to guide us, but we’re all just riding the big wave of energy that created everything, that is everything. Love threw a stone and it fell into the dark water of the Uncreated. Ripples spread out and out from the stone. When the ripples are us we think that we can think. Love is doing the thinking.

This is the darkest time of the year, these days leading up to the Solstice. In all the great and small interconnected and concentric circles of the Is, in the heart of it all, Love is born and born again. We can bring our gifts, watch in the snowy night, and wait for the angels.

Gold, because we know Love is the Ruler. Frankincense because we know Love is Divine. And Myrrh because we know that Love itself dies and is reborn over and over and over.

Blessings on you, and on the people you love, and the people who love you.
